HVAC Wiring

HVAC systems require dedicated electrical circuits properly sized and installed for safe, reliable operation. RCC Electric provides HVAC wiring for new equipment installations, replacements, and additions throughout East Tennessee, working with HVAC contractors or directly with homeowners and property managers.

HVAC electrical requirements include properly sized breakers, correct wire gauge for the unit's amperage draw, appropriate disconnect switches within sight of the equipment, and correct low-voltage thermostat wiring in some cases. Incorrect HVAC wiring is a common cause of equipment failures, nuisance breaker trips, and in worst cases, electrical fires.

We wire all types of HVAC equipment including central air conditioning, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless mini-split systems, packaged units, and commercial HVAC equipment. We coordinate with HVAC contractors as part of larger installations or work directly when the electrical is the only scope of work.
